Aaron Dwight Price, 67, Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Willow Creek Nursing Center.
Dwight was born Sept. 20, 1948, in Wayne County to the late Dalton and Dora Ruth McArthur Price.
Dwight was most happy when out fishing on the Neuse River, and nothing was more pleasing than the tug of a fish on the line, no matter the size.
A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery, with the Rev. Ashley Summerlin officiating.
Dwight is survived by a daughter, Sherry Montague and husband, Jimmy, of LaGrange; granddaughter, Alison Montague; three sisters, Pattie Daly of Goldsboro, Linda Garris of San Antonio, Texas, and Iris Kilpatrick and husband, Tom, of Mount Olive; half-brother, Marion Barwick of Seven Springs; and a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Grady Price.
In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by a brother, Burtrell G. Price Sr.
Dwight's family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at his home, Kilpatrick Homestead Farm, 2495 N.C. 55 East, Mount Olive.
