Martha "Jeanne" Nelson, longtime Goldsboro resident, died Sept. 15, 2015, in Brevard, N.C., at the age of 77 after a short battle with cancer.
She is survived by her three children, Edie Crowell, Amy Nelson and Drew Nelson, along with his spouse, Shelly Nelson; five grandchildren, Chris McFarland, Adam Crowell, Zach Nelson, Matthew Crowell and Jessie Nelson; and two sisters; Joy Bomar and Jacque Jones of Memphis, Tenn.
