MARANDIS T. HUNTER-LEWIS

Marandis T. Hunter-Lewis passed away Sept. 26, 2015, at her home in Concord, N.C.

Marandis was born Feb. 5, 1986.

She was the daughter of pastor Willie and Easter Lewis of Goldsboro.

Marandis was educated in the Wayne and Wilson county schools at Eastern Wayne Middle, E.T. Beddingfield High School and Eastern Wayne High School, where she graduated in June 2004.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age at St. John United Holy Church of Snow Hill, N.C.

Marandis is survived by her three children, two daughters and one son; three sisters, Khadine Lewis of Springdale, Md., Ebony and Mertez Lowery of San Antonio, Texas, and Kerstin Bost of Concord, N.C.; one brother, Marcus and Lydia Lewis of Spangdehlem Germany; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be at the home of pastor and Easter Lewis from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 109 Wintergreen Place, Goldsboro, Hunter Creek Subdivision, 919-288-3923.

A memorial and celebration of her life will be held Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at 6 p.m. Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine St., Goldsboro, N.C., with elder Willie E. Lewis, pastor.

Funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at 1 p.m. Love Christian Center, East Spencer Street, Salisbury, N.C. Bishop Ronald Hash will officiate. Burial will follow.
