James Alvis Anderson, 79, Mechanicsville, Md., died Tuesday at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Sunday at William Anderson Cemetery.
He was born in Wilson County Jan. 6, 1936, to the late Melvin Alvis and Fannie Faucette Anderson. He was married to Robin Page Luttes Anderson.
He is survived by a daughter.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
