ROBERT LEE SMITH

Robert Lee Smith, 55, of Eubanks, Ky., formerly of Seven Springs, N.C., passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at his home.
Born July 4, 1960, he was the son of Ann Lane Smith and the late Bob Steele Smith.
He loved grilling and making friends, and never met a stranger.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his soulmate, Tricia "Babe" Privett of Eubanks, Ky.; one brother, Steven Smith (Melody) of Seven Springs; one sister, Teresa Williams (Junious) of Deep Run; two nephews, Tyler Williams and Eric Sanderson; two nieces, Stephanie Smith Byrd and Julie Williams; a great-nephew, Benjamin Byrd; a great-niece, Hannah Sanderson; his "Kentucky family," which includes Jerry Privett (Tricia), Patricia Hawk (CJ), Ruby Privett, Emily Hawk, Haley Hawk, Kaycee Rader, Jaelyn Privett and Jeriah Privett; and his special K9 friend, Buddy.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at 5 p.m.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. at his church, Walker Memorial United Methodist Church, 2862 N.C. 111 South, Seven Springs, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Walker Memorial Building Fund.
