BENJAMIN C. LAMBERT

Benjamin Charles Lambert, known mostly as simply Ben, passed away early Monday evening, Aug. 31, 2015, in a motor vehicle accident. He was 41 years old, and was a resident of Mount Olive.
Ben, a native of Florence, S.C., was a laboratory supervisor at the school of textiles at North Carolina State University.
He loved the Lord, and adhered to his teachings, and was a member of the "Family Club," meaning that his whole life revolved around those whom he loved and cherished, namely his wife and their two kids.
He is survived by his wife, Erin Eslyn Lambert, whom he married April 12, 1997, and their children, Mary-Cole Lambert and Weston Lance Lambert all of the home; his parents, Franklin H. and Laura E. Lambert of Florence; his wife's family -- her parents, Lance and Katherine Eslyn; brother, Austin Eslyn; sisters, Cole Eslyn and Ana Eslyn all of Mount Olive; and a special family friend, Suzanne Snyder.
His life will be remembered in a service to be held Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, officiated by the Rev. Steve Wicks, and followed by burial in Mount Olive's Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Tyndall Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.
