Carrie Estelle Rowe of Goldsboro transitioned to the afterlife at Wayne Memorial Hospital Friday, Aug. 28, 2015.
Carrie was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Wayne County to Charlie and Willie Boddie.
She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Doris Davis and Thomas Rowe Jr. of Goldsboro; two sisters, Geraldine Matthews and Adell Harvey; and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Sept. 3, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
The funeral service will be held at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Friday Sept. 4, 2015, with burial in Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley, N.C.
