Daisy A. Monroe, 76, 970 Sleepy Creek Road, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Ina Stevens McClarin, and wife of David L. Monroe.
Five children survive.
Visitation will be tonight from 3 to 7 at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
