DORIS B. BEAMAN

Mrs. Doris Bradshaw Beaman, 90, Snow Hill, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015.
Mrs. Beaman was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Wayne County to the late Herbert B. and Nora Grant Bradshaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wayne Beaman, and son, Ernest Herman Beaman.
Doris was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Snow Hill, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also sang in the choir, and was an active member in the Women's Missionary Union.
She is survived by her daughter, Kie Beaman Rogers and husband, Tommy, of Snow Hill; son, Kenneth Wayne Beaman and wife, Kathy, of Snow Hill; daughter-in-law, Annette Turnage Beaman of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Ernie Beaman of Snow Hill, Kim Rogers of Winterville, Kristie Beaman Hamm and husband, Jeffrey, of Walstonburg, Kathleen Beaman Moon and husband, Eric, of Wilmington, Kevin Rogers of Winterville and Kent Beaman and wife, Amanda, of Snow Hill; and great-grandchildren, Lindsey Moon, Corey Hamm, Noah Moon, Nicole Hamm, Alyssa Beaman and Fisher Moon.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, with the Rev. Kelley Smart officiating. Committal services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Snow Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service Tuesday and other times at the home of Tommy and Kie Rogers.
