Alice Earl "Nankie" Powell, 82, 509 Oliver St., Mount Olive, died Wednesday at Genesis Health Care.
Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael McDougal officiating. Burial will be in Wynn Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nora Faison Williams.
Three children survive.
Visitation will be tonight 3 to 7 at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Arthur and Nerlene Williams, 105 Kings Drive, Mount Olive.
