Samuel Joe Randolph, 51, Kenly, passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 3, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Sam was born in Danville, Ind., Sept. 11, 1963, to Mary Ann Blake Williams and the late Edmund Beckett Randolph.

He was employed as a machinist with Firestone in Wilson.

Sam was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors in the woods. He was a hunter of small game, and loved walking in the woods and fields with a gun and one of his coon dogs he had trained.

Sam was a member of the National Rifle Association.

A service celebrating Sam's life will be held at Costin Funeral Home Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Martinsville, Ind. Interment will be Friday, June 12, 2015, at Fiscus Cemetery in Coal City.

Sam is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary Ann and Marion Williams; siblings, Jack Randolph, Lana Moulton, Lisa Mays, Sally Silcox and Sara Warrick; and several nieces and nephews, including Jesse Randolph.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the National Rifle Association or to the American Cancer Society.
