SUE L. WOLFE

Sue Scott Lowe Wolfe, 72, Surf City, formerly of Mount Olive, died peacefully Monday at New Hanover Regional Hospital.
She was born in Robeson County to the late Frank Vernon and Frances McHenry Scott Lowe, and was the retired co-owner of Lowe's Home and Auto Supply Co. Inc. in Mount Olive.
Sue was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro, with pastor Sammy Boone officiating.
Family members will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at her residence, 9093 Ninth St., Surf City, and Thursday following the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the visitation at Wayne Memorial Park.
Sue is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Gene E. Wolfe; two daughters and son-in-law, Allene Wolfe Batchelor and Mark Batchelor and Susan Wolfe Sartip; and grandchildren, Tyler Batchelor and his wife, Heather, Rachel Sartip and Alex Sartip.
