MARGARET ROBERSON HASTY

Margaret R. Hasty, 89, died Monday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Lafayette "Fay" and Minnie S. Roberson, and was the wife of 55 years to the late Joseph Macon Hasty.
Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with Dr. Opey D. Jeanes officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk funeral home prior to the funeral.
Margaret graduated in 1944 from Stuart County High School in Stuart, Va.
She had resided in Goldsboro for more than 50 years, and had worked 47 years locally as a hairstylist.
She also enjoyed serving as a volunteer for eight years with the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Satellite Pharmacy.
Margaret is survived by three daughters, Jo Ann Hasty of Powell, Tenn., Patsie F. Hasty of Goldsboro and Terry H. Jeanes and husband, Dale, of Clemmons, N.C., and a granddaughter, Kristen Jeanes of Clemmons, N.C.
She is also survived by her brother and his wife, Jack and Virginia Roberson of Suffolk, Va.
