Mrs. Alice Best Broadhurst, 84, 2773 Pinewood Home Drive, Pink Hill, N.C., passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015.
A service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, May, 2, 2015, at Atkinson Chapel, 634 S. Oak Forest Road, Goldsboro, N.C., at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Michael Johnson will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Old Mill Cemetery on Central Heights Road.
Public viewing will be held Friday, May 1, 2015, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Broadhurst is survived by three sons, Marshall Best of Fremont, N.C., Alvin (Ethel) Best of Goldsboro, and Calvin Best, also of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, LaShonda T. (Matthew) May of Greenville, Octavia R. Best of Goldsboro, Alicia E. (Brandon) Davis of Pikeville, and Adrienne S. Best of Goldsboro; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; a brother; seven nephews; eight nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
