GLENDA YOUNG WOODRUFF

Glenda Young Woodruff, 66, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday morning at her home.
Glenda was born in Wilson County May 13, 1948, to the late Kenneth Norwood Young and Evelyn Gray Creech Young.
For many years, she served as the manager of Sally's Beauty Supply.
She was the kindest and most loving mother and grandmother and a great friend to everyone. She will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.
A service celebrating Glenda's life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Glenda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris "Woody" and Joyce Woodruff; grandson, Cody Goff and girlfriend, Haley Finch; sisters, JoAnn Brown and husband, Ralph, Connie Lee and husband, Donald, and Bonnie Lee and husband, Hubert; brother, Mark Young and wife, Joy; sister-in-law, Pam Young; and several nieces and nephews she loved very deeply.
She is also survived by the father of her son, Jodie.
In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Young.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
