Lois Weaver Denning, 85, Newton Grove, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015.
The funeral will be Friday, March 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. at St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jim Skinner and the Rev. Richard Persons officiating the service.
The burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015, at the church, prior to the funeral service.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Denning and wife, Kay, of Clayton; grandsons, Stephen Denning and wife, Sallie, of Garner and Jeremy Denning and wife, Akila, of Encino, Calif.; a granddaughter, Jenny Edwards, and husband, Paul, of Clinton; great-granchildren, Maxwell and Avery Denning and Mirabella and Wells Edwards; and a sister, Edna Johnson, of Four Oaks.
She is preceded in death by her husband, U.H. "Dick" Denning, and a son, Dale W. Denning.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Building Fund, c/o Jim Skinner, 733 S. Bentonville Road, Four Oaks, N.C., 27524.
Arrangements are by West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove.
