Essie P. Borden, 79, of 210 Wayne Ave., passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, at noon at St. Luke Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church, 430 East Elm St., Goldsboro, N.C.
Pastor David Williams will deliver the eulogy.
Public viewing will be held Friday, March 27, 2015, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. Goldsboro, N.C., from 3 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 7 pm.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 210 Wayne Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., and will also assemble on Saturday at 11 a.m. in preparation for the processional.
