James Wesley Smith, 72, Woods Mill Road, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at New Life World Outreach Center in Snow Hill. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Greene County (Jason) to Hinton James Smith and Neva Hardy Smith. He was married to Mary Ann Wells Smith.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 12:30 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
