Robert John Geers, 67, South Charlotte, N.C., passed away Feb. 23, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville, N.C.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, S.C.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Geers was born Feb. 23, 1948, to the late Edward Joseph and Margaret Romaine Taylor Geers.
He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Anne Bauer Geers; loving father to Benjamin and Nicholas (Sarah) Geers, both of Charlotte, N.C.; brother to Edward Geers of Portland, Ore., William Geers of Mobile, Ala., and Joseph Geers of Deltona, Fla.; and grandfather to Josephine Geers.
