Carlton Rorie, 69, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greater Morning Star Church in Fremont.
The burial will be in the Old Mill Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Monday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
He was the son of Rebecca Parks and H.B. Johnson and is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home and five children.
