William Henry Artis, 51, 702 N. Madison Ave., died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice.
Funeral will be Wednesday at noon at White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 15, 1953, to William and Manor Mervin Artis in Wayne County.
He is survived by wife, Dorothy Dickens Artis, and five children.
Visitation Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7, at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive at the home, where it will assemble Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. for the funeral procession.
