Shanekqua A. Thompson, 21, 109 N. Herman St., Goldsboro, succumbed to the silent halls of death Friday.
She was born Aug. 10, 1993, in Wilson County to Jermaine Jones and Renee Thompson.
Her life and memory will be celebrated held Friday at 1 p.m. at Branch Memorial United Holy Church in Wilson. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Rest Haven Cemetery in Wilson.
Her loving memory is cherished by three darling children; her parents; grandmother, Betty Thompson; grandfather, Jimmy Thompson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home of Goldsboro. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble at 11:30 a.m. Friday in preparation for the funeral procession.
Shanekqua's remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
