NORMA JEANETTE HAUCK THROM

Norma Jeanette Hauck Throm, 93, passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Norma was born in Buffalo, N.Y., April 3, 1921, to the late Martin Paul Hauck and Margaret Pauley Hauck. She was married to the late Norton Anthony Throm.
Norma was a homemaker and a very devout Catholic.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Goldsboro.
The family will gather immediately following the service for a time of remembrance and fellowship at the Kirkwood Retirement Village in Goldsboro.
Norma is survived by her son, Mark Throm and wife, Dawn, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Mark Anthony Throm and wife, Kristen, of Delmar, Del., and Erich Martin Throm and wife, Melissa, of Mount Olive; great-grandchildren, Addison Throm, Grayson Throm, Karen Throm and Katherine Throm; her nieces, Karen Slaughter and husband, Claude, Elizabeth Wack and husband, Jeffery, Paula Bozitezic and husband, Karl, Kim Griffiths and Robin Hartwell; and nephew, Paul Whittingham.
She is also survived by several other special great-nieces and great-nephews.
