Dean Ray Fields, 66, died Oct. 15, 2014.
Graveside service was Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at 3 p.m. Interment was at Westbrook-Fields Family Cemetery.
Survivors include sons, Ricky Fields and girlfriend, Pam, of Nahunta and Micky Fields and wife, Dana, of New Mexico; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Fields of Rosewood, Joe Fields of Nashville and Lonnie Fields of Goldsboro; three sisters, Ruth Denning of Asheboro, Lillie Harrell of Mount Olive and Shirley Stedman of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Mary Susan Holland Fields, and brother, James Henry Fields Jr.
The family will receive friends at the home of Lillie Harrell, 996 Edwards Store Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28366.
