Robbie Earl McLendon, 71, Raleigh, passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2014.
He was born Nov. 1, 1942, in Donalsonville, Ga., to Earl Carson and Audrey White McLendon.
Robbie served in the United States Navy and later worked for Century Data Systems in Raleigh.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Canter.
He is survived by Joan McLendon of Vincennes, Ind.; sisters, Cathy Vaden of Tampa, Fla., and Renee Fultz of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Teresa Lee of Raleigh, Margo Sanders of Reelsville, Ind., Becky McLendon of Vincennes, Ind., and Melissa Cole-Cartrette of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and love for fishing and NASCAR.
