Robert Ray "Robbie" Batts Jr., 36, Stantonsburg, passed away suddenly Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at his home.

Robbie was born in Wilson County Nov. 14, 1977, to Robert Ray Batts and Charlette C. Corbett.

He was a graduate of Wilson Beddingfield High School.

Robbie owned and operated Digital Connex.

Robbie was a very strong believer in Jesus Christ, and felt that nothing was impossible when you place your trust in God. His faith gave him the courage to face anything in life.

Robbie was gregarious and larger than life, and every life he touched, he changed.

Most importantly to Robbie was his family. Robbie enjoyed coaching his boys in all the sports they were involved in. He worked so hard to make sure his wife and children were well taken care of. Robbie was the best daddy, who will be truly missed.

A service celebrating Robbie's life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at Stoneybrook Church of Christ, 3503 Airport Blvd., Wilson, N.C. Interment will follow in the family cemetery.

Robbie is survived by his wife, Mandi Batts; sons, Elijah James Batts and Nikolas Connor Ray Batts; mother, Charlette Corbett and husband, Frankie; father, Robert Ray Batts; sisters, Chrystal Combs and Kelly Theriac; and brothers, Matthew Corbett and Zachary Batts.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Deborah Styons Grant and husband, William Joseph Grant; father-in-law, Kim Hendricks; and brother-in-law, Jimmi Hendricks.

The family received friends Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times, will be at his home.
