Elizabeth Dortch Lewis, 102, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at Penick Village in Southern Pines.
Miss Lewis was born in Edgecombe County May 1, 1912, to the late James S. Lewis Sr. and Mildred Dortch Lewis.
She lived most of her life in Goldsboro, and was a faithful member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church
Miss Lewis is survived by her nieces and nephews, John Dortch Lewis Jr., James Spencer Lewis III, Mildred Dortch Lewis and Caroline Lewis Miles.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Dortch Lewis and James Spencer Lewis Jr., and her sister, Ellen Lewis O'Berry.
