Robert Glenn "Bob" Core, 64, West Dundee, Ill., passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014.
Bob was born July 14, 1950, in Goldsboro to Louise Snipes Coker and the late Mason Core.
Bob enjoyed travel, and was an avid reader.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Tony McLamb officiating.
Bob is survived by his mother and stepfather, Louise and Marvin Coker of LaGrange; his longtime companion, Deborah Staky of West Dundee, Ill.; brother-in-law, Charlie Hart; along with two nieces and a nephew, Sallie Williams and husband, Ian, and their child, Nora, Anna Lisa Stump and husband, Craig, and David Hart.
In addition to his father, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Hart.
