David Parrell Jernigan, 80, Mount Olive, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at West and Dunn Funeral Home chapel in Newton Grove, with the Rev. Jesse Weaver officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by sisters, Phyllis Futrell of Raleigh, Judy Jernigan of Wilson's Mills and Billie Ingram of Grantham, and brothers, Kenneth Jernigan of Rosewood and Ted Jernigan of Goldsboro and fiancee´, Gloria McLamb of Angier.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raymnd and Elma Jernigan; sister, Annie McCullen; and brother, John "Tommy" Jernigan.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
