JOAN G. FRANKENFIELD

Joan Galow Frankenfield, 82, resident of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Westmont, N.J., passed away Friday evening at the home of her daughter in Goldsboro.

Joan was born in Mountain Top, Pa., to the late Herbert and Helen Hilgert Galow. She was married to the late Charles J. Frankenfield.

Joan had been a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Haddonfield, N.J., and was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Tarpon Springs, Fla.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey Haddonfield Chapter No. 140.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at McCune Funeral Home in Mountain Top, Pa., Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, followed by a service of remembrance at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Albert Cemetery.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Joan Frankenfield Oden and husband, Edward, of New Jersey and Carol J. Keister and husband, Stuart, of Goldsboro, N.C.; grandson, J.C. Keister and wife, Amanda, of Garner; great-grandson, Cameron Keister; sisters, Nancy Mack and Mary Shea of New Jersey; brother, David Galow and wife, Patricia, of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Cures for the Colors, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, or Deborah Heart and Lung Center, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mill, N.J., 08015.

The family will receive friends in Goldsboro Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of Carol and Stuart Keister, 207 Bear Creek Road, Goldsboro.
