Mrs. Gladys Odessa Hodges Harper died July 20, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Issac and Juanita Spence Hodges.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 25, at 1 p.m. at Wave of Glory Faith Center, 915 McDaniel Ave., with apostle Daniel Uzzell officiating. Burial will follow in Broadhurst Family Cemetery, Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs, N.C.
A public visitation will be held today from 2 to 7 p.m., and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Mrs. Harper is survived by four children, Paul E. Harper Jr. (Vernell), John F. Harper (Greta), Gladys A. Hunter and Paulette Uzzell (Norris); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
