Lela Harris Biggs, 97, Roanoke Rapids, died Monday at Roanoke Rapids Health Care.
Graveside service will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Martin Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Gary Parks officiating.
She was born March 11, 1917, in Pitt County to the late Charles T. and Nora B. Manning Harris. She was married to the late William Biggs.
She is survived by two daughters.
Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston.
