Daniel Conly Minshew, 79, Eureka, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, July 18, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Heart of David Church in Eureka, where he was a member. The Rev. Kem Lancaster will officiate. Burial will follow at Eureka Cemetery.
Mr. Minshew was born in Wayne County April 19, 1935, to the late Joel Jacob Minshew and Ollie Mae Putnam Minshew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Overman Minshew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart of David Church, P.O. Box 3037, Eureka, N.C., 27830, where he is survived by his church family.
Services are entrusted to Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St. in Fremont.
