Faye Pridgen Ward, 79, Lucama, died at the University of North Carolina Health Care Hospital in Chapel Hill Sunday.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home chapel. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Springhill Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Connie Edwards Pridgen and the late Alberta Owens. She was married to Ruffin Lee Ward.
She is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will follow the funeral.
