Mark Edward Wells, 78, Goldsboro, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
All services will be held privately.
Mr. Wells was born in Shine Township in Greene County, N.C., to the late Joe and Minnie Louise Vinson Wells.
He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his two sons, Joseph Clark Wells of Goldsboro and Anthony Mark Wells of Goldsboro; a daughter, Penny Lou Wells Hill of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Laurie, April, Kimberly and Brayden; and a great-grandchild, Jasmine.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wells was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wells.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
