Adrienne Elizabeth McCoy, 9, passed away Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was a student at Tommy's Road Elementary School.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Adrienne was born Feb. 12, 2005, daughter of Tammy Ingram McCoy and Stevie McCoy.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Johnnie Lee Medlin III and Tyriek McCoy also of Goldsboro; her maternal grandmother, Julie Tillett of Goldsboro; paternal grandmother, Mary McCoy also of Goldsboro; and maternal great-grandmother, Alma Newsome of Goldsboro.
She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William "Bill" Ingram.
