BETTY WAGNER

Elizabeth "Betty" Hebert Wagner, 88, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Heartfields at Cary.

Betty was born in Williamstown, Vt., May 11, 1925, to the late Henry J. Hebert and Lora Wilfore Hebert. She was married to the late Clifford Alvan Wagner.

Betty was an active member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 9, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Father Pat Keane presiding. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Betty is survived by her children, Lori Wagner of Cary and Don Wagner and wife, Dr. Jennie Freeman Wagner, of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Ann Elizabeth Wagner and Stefan Clifford Wagner; and sisters, Theresa Poor of Williamstown, Vt., Katherine Langlois of Montpelier, Vt., and Lorena Henes of Burlington, Vt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Poor, and brothers, Robert Hebert and Alfred Hebert.

A wake service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a time of visitation.

Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 10608, Goldsboro, N.C., 27532.
