BUCK D. YANCEY

Buck Dwain Yancey, 83, passed away on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He is the son of the late Harley and Brentie Beal Yancey, and the husband of Oonruan Yancey. He was a retired scale operator for Georgia Pacific, as well as a Tech Sergeant for the United States Air Force.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park in Valdese, N.C. The family will greet friends one half-hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In addition to his wife, Buck is survived by his son, Robert Yancey and wife, Maguy of Goldsboro; daughters, Anna Marie Bechtel, Ocala, Fl. and Elizabeth Charin Hushour and husband, Ryan, Wichita, Kan.; brothers, Mike Yancey of Kernersville, N.C., Ben Yancey of Morganton, N.C., Harley Yancey of Matthews, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
