BOBBY G. INGLE

Mr. Bobby Gene Ingle, 82, Snow Hill, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his home.
A native of Buncombe County, he was born May 8, 1931, the son of Arthur D. and Cora Lee Russell Ingle.
A veteran of the United States Army, he entered service in November 1951, and retired in October 1972, having served tours of duty in both Korea and Vietnam.
Along with his wife, Doris, he made his home in Greene County in 2003.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, with the Rev. Ronnie Mohn and the Rev. Ryan Rasmussen officiating.
Mr. Ingle is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Doris G. Ingle of the home; daughter, Tammie Ingle Erlenbusch and husband, Douglas, of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons, Rickey Ingle and wife, Meg, of Fuquay and Allen Ingle and wife, Melissa, of Goldsboro; sisters, Shelby Nace of Asheville, Shirley Lewis of South Carolina and Wanda Otto of Idaho; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service Friday and other times at the Ingle residence.
