Shirley Rose Lane, 71, passed away March 25, 2014, peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Wayne County July 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Lawton and Mammie Quinn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Lane; their son, William Shane Lane; two brothers; and nine sisters.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Penny Lane Criss and Billie Amanda Lane; a sister, Katherine Jones; a granddaughter, Hanna Hinson Spence and husband, Kevin Spence; and two great-grandsons, Mason O'Neal Britt and Khallen Reed Spence.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of Hanna and Kevin Spence, 305 Pineland Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
