JULIAN EARL LANGLEY SR.

Julian Earl Langley Sr., passed away Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with military honors.
Mr. Langley was born Aug. 27, 1943. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Purple Heart recipient.
He retired as a shop foreman with C & E Construction at the age of 62. After retirement, he enjoy many happy years. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Williams Langley; two sons, Julian Earl Langley Jr. and Jessie M. Langley and wife, Martha; sister, Barbara Barnes; and six grandchildren, Derek, Patrick, Ashley, Halley, Sydney and Kendall Langley.
