Haywood Earl "Bud" Edmundson, 70, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Bud was born in Wayne County Aug. 4, 1943,to the lateSeth Raymond Edmundson and Mozelle Wiley Edmundson. He was married to thelate Linda Bridgers Edmundson.
Bud was employed as an electrician with Wayne Electric Co.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Tony McLamb officiating. Interment will be Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Edmundson of Pikeville; daughter, Tracy Lynn Hamilton and husband, Michael, of Princeton; and grandchildren, Ashley, Haley and Victoria Hamilton.
Haywood is also survived by his brothers, Jimmy Edmundson of Goldsboro, Larry Edmundson and wife, Ruth, of Goldsboro and Steve Edmundson and wife, Susan, of Goldsboro.
