Prentice Coleman, 51, 407 N. Slocumb St., died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Funeral was Saturday at 1 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scottie Rodgers officiating. Burial was in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born May 8, 1962, in Wayne County.
He is survived by seven children.
