Jesse Randolph "Randy" Watts, 79, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Randy was born in Roanoke, Va., Oct. 16, 1934, to the late Louis and Ida Minter Watts.
He was a retired salesman in the garment industry.
Randy was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fort Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg, Va.
Randy is survived by his wife, Betty LaRue Watts; daughters, Susan W. McKnight of Goldsboro and Sandy Watts of Wagener, S.C.; grandsons, Daniel McKnight and wife, Karen, of Wendell and Michael McKnight of Raleigh; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne and Abigail Leigh; and sisters, Joann Rhodes and Norma Jean Cash both of Roanoke, Va.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Shafer, and brother, L.N. Watts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Freedom Baptist Church, 300 Country Day Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at his home.
