George Edward Waddell, 57, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Dec. 23, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Lloyd Edward and Lillie Greene Waddell.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at Howell Funeral Home.
