Peggy Grady Potter, 75, passed away quietly in her sleep Monday morning at the home of her daughter in Goldsboro.

Peggy was born in Duplin County May 31, 1938, to the late Joseph Colon Grady and Elizabeth Herring Grady.

She retired as the director of medical records at Wayne Memorial Hospital after 35 years of service.

Peggy was currently serving as the secretary for the Wayne County Medical Society.

She was a caring, loving mother and grandmother, whose primary goal was the happiness and security of her family.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Pineview Cemetery, with Dwayne Summerlin presiding.

Peggy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Tony Rose of Goldsboro, and her grandson, Tanner Rose, who was the apple of her eye.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, 204 N. Cottonwood Drive, Goldsboro.
