FLORA CANDACE "CANDY" ROGERS SINGLETON

LILLINGTON -- Mrs. Flora Candace "Candy" Rogers Singleton, 64, Lillington, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 29, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Tommie Hubert and Lida Mae Rogers.

A native of Princeton, N.C., she worked as a real estate agent with Century 21 in Goldsboro and later with ReMax Signature Home Builders of Dunn.

She was also a human resource director with Computer Stores Northwest in Corvallis, Ore.

She was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of the Church of Christ in Lillington.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, from noon to 3 p.m. at her home, 1203 S. 9th St., Lillington.

A graveside service will be conducted 4 p.m. Sunday at Bizzell Grove Church Memorial Gardens in Princeton, N.C., with brother Reuben Jackson officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Wade Singleton; daughter Mitzi Cherie Cox of Benton, Ark.; son Christopher R. Cox and wife, Sharon Renee, of Goldsboro; granddaughter Alexis Brie Cox; sister LaRue R. Tart and husband, John, of Grantham; brothers Donnie E. Rogers and wife, Gwen, of Princeton, Bennie E. Rogers and wife, Betty, of Wilson, and Will H. Rogers and wife, Sherry, of Goldsboro; stepdaughters Sheri L. Dodd and husband, Gary, Vivian I. Ford and husband, Brian, Deanna H. Morris and husband, Bret, and Nancy E. Preuit and husband, Michael; stepgrandchildren Brandon, Courtney, Randi, Sarah and Jaden; stepgreat-grandchildren Iseabel and Nathaniel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stepgrandson, Nathan Ford.
