Mr. Walter William Smith passed away peacefully Wednesday at home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 1, at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb St. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Road.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m., with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m., at the funeral chapel.
He was born Jan. 15, 1940, in Greene County to the late Spencer and Gladys Smith.
His wife, Velma Lewis Smith, preceded him in death.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel Inc. is serving the family.
