MARY HAUSER

Mary Hauser, longtime resident of Goldsboro, passed away Nov. 5 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born Aug. 17, 1922, to the late Van and Effie Moredith of Jasper, N.C., she moved to Goldsboro shortly after World War II.

She was employed for many years as a sales associate at Maxwell Brothers Furniture.

Following her retirement and until her death, she was active in the antiques business.

Mrs. Hauser was predeceased by her husband Frank M. Hauser Jr.

She is survived by sons Frank (Harriet) of Delmar, N.Y., and David (Mary Bette) of Advance, N.C.; grandsons, Jeffrey (Dori) Hauser of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Bryan (Cindy) Hauser of Davidson, N.C.; granddaughter, Susan (Ryan) Parker of Atlanta, Ga.; as well as five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.

Calling hours will be Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Madison Avenue Baptist Church.
