NIKOLAS STEPHEN FREDRICK

Jan. 31, 1991-Oct. 29, 2013

Nikolas Stephen Fredrick, 22, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, in Wilmington.

Nik was born in Neenah, Wisc., Jan. 31, 1991, and was a 2009 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. While a student at Charles B. Aycock, Nik was voted the best looking of his class, and was a star athlete in cross country. Nik won the Conference Championship in cross country, and was voted 2007 Eastern Carolina Conference Runner of the Year.

People were drawn to Nik's bigger-than-life personality; he never met a stranger, and if he did, that did not last long before you became a friend.

The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service remembering Nik's life at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.

Nik is survived by his parents, Patti and Greg Enloe of Goldsboro, and his grandparents, Una B. Fredrick of Neenah, Wisc., and Ruth Enloe of Franklin, N.C.

He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Barb and Rick Knoll, Mark and Roxanne Fredrick, Penny Nennig, Bill and Anna Enloe, Jay and Melaine Enloe and Jim and Kerry Enloe.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman R. Fredrick, and his uncle, Dan Fredrick.
